1. Who We Are

• Starr Group Pty Ltd (ACN 637 444 798; ABN 98 637 444 798) is an Australian information technology and software solutions company. It designs, develops, implements and supports cloud software, websites, web and mobile applications, business systems and third-party integrations.
• Starr Group Pty Ltd operates RentAAA, its specialised Software as a Service platform for rental and asset management.
• RentAAA is available through RentAAA.com, Starr365.com, related web portals and the RentAAA Pro, RentAAA Customer and RentAAA Landlord applications.
• Our purpose is to provide scalable digital tools that help businesses automate and manage their operations.
• RENTAAA is an Australian registered trade mark of Starr Group Pty Ltd, Trade Mark No. 2552682, registered in Class 42 for software as a service and software rental services. The RENTAAA name, software, websites, applications, platform content, designs, branding and related materials are owned by Starr Group Pty Ltd or its licensors and must not be copied, used or reproduced without written permission, except as allowed under the applicable terms.

2. What We Provide

Depending on the agreed product, plan or contract, Starr Group Pty Ltd may provide:

• cloud-based rental and business-management software;
• custom websites, webstores, SEO and digital solutions;
• web and mobile application development;
• software configuration, customisation and implementation;
• payment, accounting, GPS, identity and other system integrations; and
• onboarding, training, technical support, maintenance and product updates.

Specific features, prices, limits and implementation services are set out in the applicable proposal, Order Form or contract.

Starr Group Pty Ltd and RentAAA provide technology, software and related support services only. They do not own, supply, rent, lease, manage or control any vehicle, property, equipment, inventory, accommodation, goods or rental service offered by a Merchant, service provider or third party. All responsibility, liability and obligations relating to the rental item, inventory, product, service, pricing, availability, condition, safety, fulfilment, cancellation, refund, bond, deposit, damage, insurance, dispute or customer claim remain with the relevant Merchant, service provider or third party, subject to applicable law.

3. Software Platforms and Applications

4. Clear Division of Responsibility

• Starr Group Pty Ltd operates and supports the RentAAA software and related IT services.
• The Merchant is the service provider. The Merchant supplies the vehicle, property, inventory, equipment, accommodation or other rental service and determines availability, pricing, deposits or bonds, approval, conditions, safety, fulfilment, cancellations and refunds.
• RentAAA does not own, supply, rent, lease, manage or control the rental item, inventory, vehicle, property, equipment, accommodation, goods or Merchant service and is not a party to the rental or service agreement between the Merchant and customer.
• Payment Providers process payments. Approved third-party providers maintain the payment and settlement infrastructure. RentAAA is not a bank and does not provide a customer deposit account.
• RentAAA is not a marketplace, rental agency or reseller. It provides software tools only. The Merchant remains responsible for its own rentals, services, customers, pricing, refunds, claims and disputes.

5. Payments and Wallets

• Supported methods may include Direct Debit, PayTo, PayID, debit cards and credit cards. The Merchant determines the amount payable, and the customer must provide the authority required for the selected method.
• A disclosed Direct Debit or payment method setup fee may apply which is non-refundable.
• Payment Providers process payments and maintain the underlying payment, settlement and payout infrastructure. RentAAA does not hold Customer or Merchant funds in its own bank account and does not provide a bank account, deposit account or stored-value facility.
• Customer Wallet: The Customer Wallet is only a payment profile and transaction record. It does not hold a cash balance, and a customer cannot load, hold, spend, transfer or withdraw money from it.
• Merchant Wallet: The Merchant Wallet is a Payment Provider settlement facility administered through RentAAA Pro. The Payment Provider maintains the underlying payment, settlement and payout infrastructure.

6. Identity, Privacy and Security

• Where an identity or DVS check is enabled, RentAAA may use an approved provider to compare identity-document information with an official record. The check begins only after the customer gives express consent. A Merchant may receive an overall Identity Opinion where permitted, but not the underlying DVS match result. The Merchant remains responsible for its rental decision.
• Privacy. RentAAA collects and uses personal information reasonably necessary to provide and secure its services, process authorised transactions, verify identity, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. It may disclose information to the relevant Merchant, approved service providers or as required by law. The applicable Privacy Policy explains retention, overseas disclosures, access, correction and complaints. Privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected].
• Merchants may also have their own privacy and consent obligations. Users must protect their accounts, devices and verification codes and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
